Tedious quasi-romance, with a ridiculous heroine (Oh Will! Oh Will!) and predictable ending. There were moments of good writing buried in the book but not enough. The first half is engaging and has promise. As to the second: Ware could have done something Interesting with Hannah’s trauma and subsequent arrested development but didn’t.
