What I like about The Plan is that it's a methodology, not a prescribed diet. It helps you learn what foods your individual body reacts negatively to and which ones you tolerate well. It has been working well for my husband and I. Once you complete the 20 days, you have a method to test any food you want, but more importantly, you have a method to reverse any weight gain caused by a negative reaction you had to an inflammatory food consumed at a restaurant or at a friends. The only negative is that it is a fair amount of work because you initially have to make everything yourself - like you shouldn't use a store bought salad dressing containing dairy products until you have tested it. But I think the work is worth it to get rid of bloating and weight gain.
