The most irritating movie in last few years! Harish Kalyan's character is the most absurd, arrogant, selfish, cunning, disrespectful one. I just watched till the end with a hope that he will realise his wrong deeds at some point - but no! The director just shows both the lead characters (M S Baskar is the other lead) to be apologizing just for namesake & even there, M S Baskar says he was at more fault considering his age. But on the contrary, it's Harish's role that irritates you the most. M S Baskar nailed his character & he is the only saving grace of this movie.

Such a beautifully crafted movie & I haven't seen any movie in the recent past that can match with the last 30 minutes that this movie takes us through! Karthik Subbaraj is a true craftsman!! Outstanding performances from Raghava Lawrence, SJ Suryah along with other characters especially Nimisha Sajayan. Rarely one can get to see a movie of this sort where major portions of a movie has one genre (that's very engaging too) & the last portion that transports you to a totally different genre with unimaginable plot & twist! Hats off to Karthik Subbaraj's writing & execution! Must watch movie! Music & BGM top class as usual from Santhosh

Mare of Easttown is a crime investigative thriller of the highest quality! This is not just all about crime investigation but there are emotions too. There is a whole of characters & you get sucked into their lives - that's the way technical team takes you deep into their world! Kate Winslet was outstanding & carries entire series on her shoulders and delivers a stellar performance that she can really be proud of! Whole cast and crew were just brilliant. There are many twists and turns that keep you glued until the last episode! Totally loved it!!! Hope there will be a second season too.
