This film is atrocious! This newest instalment of the Herbie films took me back when I saw the "amazing" CGI and the "amazing" mechanics that are shown throughout the film. For example, at one stage in the film, a Volkswagen Beetle was shown to run over a NASCAR, this film does not pay attention to the actual rules and regulations of racing and how cars actually work. Why would NASCAR accept and old Beetle? For me, this seemed like a low budget remake of Cars live action even though Cars was made after this. It is pretty much the same concept of both films with an underdog against a mean and killer car which wins all the races. Even this type of storyline is shown with Turbo! If I would have rated this out of 10 I would give it a 3/10. Hopefully, if they make another Herbie film, doubt they will, it should be much better than this.

Terrible lack lustre film. Plot points are there for no reason. Unrealistic scenes as somehow you can scan if you have a virus through a camera on a phone. This film doesn’t make sense as the main protagonist wants to smuggle a highly contagious person into an infection free zone. Seriously... 0/10. Don’t waste your time watching it.
