It was like watching a super ball in a bouncy house. This film couldn't make up it's mind...Is it a documentary about Oppenheimer and his creation of the atom bomb, it's it a character study into a brilliant but flawed man, is it a political thriller. Nolan needed to pick one and go all in. This was a tiresome 3 hour movie that only got moving towards the end. The two best characters were RDJs Lewis Strauss ( thought he made a great bad guy) and a Tom Conti as Einstein. Matt Damon was decent too. I went in with high expectations and walked out disappointed.
