Seeing the reviews already existent on this book shows it’s working. If you aren’t actively fighting racism - then you aren’t anti-racist. If you’re triggered by conversations of race and say you don’t see color, you have yet to come to the light of allyship. Reading to my children about how to stand for what is right and how others may not be raised the same way but to hold to their values is great. I want my children to always know that equity and equality are not the same. I don’t understand - but I stand.
