I have wept, smiled, laughed — and just felt so full watching this film.
Parched isn’t trying to be preachy or loud. It just holds up a mirror to so many silent truths — about friendship, loneliness, desire, and what it means to choose yourself in a world that keeps asking you to shrink.
It broke me open in parts. And it made me feel like I was sitting with people I know — women I’ve met, maybe even versions of me.
A beautiful, fierce film. I’ll carry it with me for a while.
