This morning, July 31, at the top of the 8:00 hour, Gayle referred to it as "the chocolate edition" because she was being joined by two black reporters filling in for her usual white cohosts. They all laughed and accepted her comment lightly. I can't help believing that if a white person would have called it "the chocolate edition" they would be considered racist for such a remark! Looks like the usual double standard by CBS that we've all come to expect!
