This game is very, unique. I don't know how to describe or categorize it. But there is one thing I know for certain, it is a TRIP. The game takes place in a alternate history where there is a headband you can wear that lets you browse the web in your sleep. You are an enforcer, basically, a YouTube bot that actually does it job correctly. Banning things like copyright infringement, harassments, virus spreading, and illegal activity. The game revolves around that but through your time in the hypnospace, you learn more of the darker side of it, and a plan to attack it. The main gameplay is just you going around the internet, sometimes doing you job. I personally found the best part to be just looking around the hypnospace and see what all the people are doing. Each website is made by someone, and through their website, you learn about the characters. There are also some mini games, like one where you wander around stopping drugs or whatever. There is another minigame called outlaw which is... a little less... safe... I haven't fully completed the game, but the entire time I have had a blast. Seeing all the made up early memes and whatnot. It is a great game.

Don't buy the game if you have any interest in RPG's, it will suck up all your time and when you are done, everything else will feel worse by comparison. In all seriousness though, this is one of, if not the best, games of all time. The characters are incredible with depth and struggles that can be relatable, even Teddie. The social links are all incredibly well made, they somehow found a way to make talking to an old woman interesting. The combat is a bit easy on normal mode, but on hard, the difficulty is of a more fun variety, with no annoying gimmicks or fights that feel unbeatable. The plot is good throughout, but near the end, I barely wanted to sleep because of how much I wanted to keep playing and progressing through the fantastic story. The themes are also exquisite, those being that nothing can exist without truth and that of finding yourself are handled beautifully as well. All in all, this is the perfect game and, even within the persona series, nothing has made me feel so many emotions, grow attached to so many characters, get so immersed in a plot, and make me enjoy every second of playing like this game has. It is the most perfect video game experience I have had the fortune of having.
