Takes too much time with the training and the prophecy aspect of the MK lore which is the least interesting part. Also no need to create a new character as the main focus in a franchise that has over 60 established characters to work with will never fit in a trilogy even if they tried. Overall it takes itself too serious and drags past the halfway point for a film that should be more action adventure.
