Incredibly disappointing. I loved the first one. This one was showed promise but the resolution was so anticlimactic and childish. I left the theater underwhelmed and a bit angry that it was the first movie I dared the public and COVID.

Star Wars fan since 6, with the original trilogy. I’ve seen all the content (not the lesser animated series). Disappointed with some. Loved others. Just for context of the review. I am beyond pleased with Ahsoka. I feel that this is some of the best Star Wars writing and content. Great acting, great story, excitement, fun, wonderment. It had the “wow!” moments that I experienced watching Star Wars as a kid. I just loved it. For those who haven’t seen some key episodes of Clone Wars or Rebels, there is a lot of content that will be less impactful. And for those the series will not hit as hard. So if you want to have the full experience and haven’t seen the animated series, I advise you to put aside your misgivings of “it’s a cartoon” and do some homework. There are essential Ahsoka watch lists out there. Unfortunately they miss some key episodes in my opinion. Here’s my suggestion.
