This is one of those many times I'm glad I didn't let the movie critics sway me from seeing a movie. My husband and I love westerns and have been disappointed in the past few we've seen. BUT, "The Kid" did NOT disappoint! Caught my interest from very beginning to end, even leaves u feeling their mite be another (with Rio & his big sister) in the future. The Acting by all was excellent and the story was even quite believable for those days. I loved the scene when Garrett takes on the evil uncle in an old fashioned 10 step duel, 4.5 stars from me...
