As a fan of the previous 2 (1000 corpses and Devil's rejects), I was bloody gorified to hear there would be a 3rd movie. I think Rob Zombie is terrifying greatness with music and movies. His 2 installments of Halloween were the best! To do remakes of iconic Horror movies and do them as good if not better, is mind blowing. Rob didnt get the credit he deserved!
Growing up, it was always the Halloween movies that I loved the most. Micheal Myers, I found better than the then competitor Jason from Friday 13th.Freddy(Nightmare on Elm St) was Stunningly Scary, but too many installments wore out the horror filled tale. Halloween was good old faithful, always do the trick..or treat..hahaha! The 3rd one was completely off the original story but then 4-6 return to horror hella good!.
I was amazed when I saw the 1st, especially the 2nd. Of Rob Zombie's versions. He gave a story line horror fans need to relate and bond to. That way the scariness factor is at a high.
Sid Haig, rest in peace! The dynamic those 3 had in the 1st 2 movies was so natural. The perfect murdering trio! However, Sherry, Otis and the addition of Wolfman were pretty good. Not as much mayhem and murder, but stellar acting and descent storyline. Liked that they didnt die. Thanks Rob, Sherry- you are a gore goddess! Love Baby!
