I kept expecting Anna, the lead character to wake up from her own ridiculous delusions in a straight jacket. The story is utter nonsense from beginning to end without a trace of realism. The daughter was eaten by a psychopath the father left her alone in a room with? Take your daughter to work with you to a prison for the criminally insane? The kid is the murderer? Her ex husband is her psychiatrist? Everyone says sorry and says she was right all along? It’s all too inanely absurd to be funny but they are serious. This works much better as pulp fiction. Terrible.
