Pre-ordered this game as was really into UFC1 and played farrrr too much UFC4. Honestly, considering we’re in 2023 - I can hand on heart say I expected better. There are games out there, worked on and developed during the same pain-points EA went through (Covid) and delivered so much better than this has done. I read the initial day 1 reviews from the early access people who pre-ordered the Dulux edition. Saw loads of 1’s and 2’s out of 5…I thought it’s just haters being haters. Sadly, I was wrong… Despite the new engine, the game just misses the mark in so many areas. Budget was absolutely cut from this either early doors or as soon as covid hit, as some areas come across as fresh, whereas the majority are just “cut & paste”. P.S. have seen so many people say it’s cut & paste but didn’t want to believe it/think was possible. I stand corrected. Verdict: purchase a better competitive game. This just isn’t the one.
