I very much enjoyed the first two episodes. Combining the English and French accents was a little tricky; not sure of the status of the Judge and his lover as a result. I found it quite irritating and somewhat offensive with the continuous blasphemous use of the name of Jesus. It seemed contrived and definitely out-of-place. It made me wonder if there was some subtle reason for including this, which was confirmed in Episode 3 with the negative reference to the Catholic Church. Unfortunately, the integrity of the majority of the third episode started to fall apart when the Judge and his lover knowingly confronted the killer in an amateurish scene out of a third rate crime story. Having said that, the series still warrants a rating of around 3 or 4.
