This book is simply lyrical. I highly recommend listening to it. I had the opportunity to listen to it on the Libby app, and the reader is outstanding. The author’s notes are very interesting and should not be missed. This is a fascinating and interesting story about the Red Cross women during World War II that helped to keep up the morale of the soldiers. One of my best reads this year.
