It was not as scary, suspenseful, thrilling as some of Stephen King’s books. There was a degree of suspense, toward the end. Would the bill Ian b successful or b stopped? But it was not the page-turner I expected. So the problem was more a matter of very high expectations n being built up by other reader, rather than not being a good story.
I liked the “follow-up” novel Finders Keepers better (but then I had not seen rave reviews for it n I had more reasonable expectations).
