It is indeed a good movie. We witness the war as we walk beside Joey. The movie forces us to question the conditions in which the warhorses lived. The movie ends on a sweet note but it has left me wondering, why the horses without owners were mistreated? Does an animal get its fair share of dignity only if it is owned by another human?
