My take on Adipurush
After reading so many unfavourable reviews online the first day, I obviously went to the movies for some entertainment, but I was pleasantly surprised by the War movie. Let me make it clear what was the movie all about.
The movie began with a lengthy 2-minute disclaimer stating that the plot was inspired on the Ramayana by the Valimiki and that there might be many discrepancies with the genuine story.
The movie's title, Adipurush, not Ramayana, led me to firmly assume that the aforementioned assertion was accurate. So and so, during the entire film, neither Ram nor Laxman nor Sita were mentioned; instead, the characters were referred to as Raghav, Sesh, and Janaki, respectively.
I didn't think Ramayana would be played for the next three hour, but I really liked the second part as a war movie starring Vanar Sena and a mysterious dark realm. The action sequences, such as Jatayu Vadh and Janaki Haran, were filmed in a stunning manner.
Not to mention the music, which really carried the movie's momentum with some incredible character-specific background soundtracks and songs. The magical combo of Ajay Atul's music, which I would rate 10 on 10, was the main factor in my decision to watch the film in theatres.
Overall, keeping in mind that I was not watching the Ramayana, I truly appreciated the movie's movements, cinematography, and background music.
If you want some entertainment, please go to theatres and enjoy in 3D
