Beautifully filmed, great cinematography. Classic love story and coming of age story. Covers Indigenous peoples history of oppression and their culture.

Really lovely movie of a young boy learning who is he in relation to his Navajo heritage. Very moving story, the interactions with his grandmother despite the language differences and with his cousin, aunts and uncles are so well crafted. It’s a story where nothing big happens but by the end of the movie, a really big thing happened for this boy.

It’s kind of a dumb movie, so many bad character behaviors. Makes women look bad and emotionally desperate til the end. So many times I was wondering who in the real world would put up with this behavior.

Loved it, despite the controversies. The hero remains Ms. Tubman throughout, hands down.
