Haros of Styx

Fight choreography is quite good. More grounded with the real actors than heavy use of CGI like the fights in the ridiculous Marvel films. All actors did well. Editing was quite good, though it still suffers from the infuriating American need to do fast cuts instead of showing wide shots like in Hong Kong films. The actor for Sonya Blade was a bit lacking, and felt somewhat forced. Hopefully she improves in the next film. While I do agree that them getting their special abilities was a bit rushed, you have to understand this is a film. It probably would have been better to give them some time in a mini series, but despite that, their progression is logical since they are all fighters. Plus there's no better way to test yourself then to be thrown into the deep end. Hopefully we see the same cast in the sequel. And here's hoping they choose a good actor for Johnny Cage.
