Got tickets for dance area for Abba Voyage, what a disappointment, as squashed in like sardines, so calling it a dance area was a real misnomer. ‘Abbatars’ were impressive, but couldn’t distract from a feeling that we were far too overcrowded and it felt unsafe, and we could only sway with other people’s drinks sloshing around behind our heads. Also, for several tracks, there was an animation / cartoon section, why, when the whole set lasted less than 90 minutes? We were asked to go one hour early, this seemed to be predominantly for merchandise sales and their fast food outlets and drink and to make it feel like you had spent longer at an event. Most people were very dressed down for this so it didn’t feel like a special occasion.
