A cage of desire!✨
I remember talking to Mrs Kalra in winters of 2016. She complimented me for the way I was dressed up and I was all ears to her ‘MAYA’ character. Since then (i.e. a pretty long time), I knew this character and a lot imagined about her psyche. I knew that she wanted to die, she wanted to live and she wanted to do a lot of things which any strong woman, any weak women wish to. And finally, it got released this year May. I was out of my permanent residence and waited for looooooooonnnnng for my amazon delivery. I got the order in three days and finished the novel in two days 🙂
I know I was so desperate!
I was so so jumping about the story!!
It is a cent percent true story of a women with dreams and how it all starts in any Indian women’s life. She studies with some wishes. She struggles at work place/ for choice of profession. She gets married for balanced life which she generally loses. She gets into a relationship for some more hope.
But, only this permanent feel of love remains with her i.e. her children’s true attachment. Even Maya’s mother did not forget her while dying, showing another women’s flawless love towards her child. Maya faces all odds, struggles, fights, came with very strong and vibrant colours!! It is a must read for men & women to feel why and what Maya did, to understand the real meaning of cheating, hope, love and life. All the very best mam, U have done a wonderful and inescapable job for all of us. Ur voice is strong and loud. I’m so so proud that I know you personally.
Also, I know you are as strong as Maya or may be more. U have expressed such a beautiful, confident and awkwardly amazing Indian story in a simplest manner.
Best wishes & huge thanks.
Stay blessed!! ✨🤞🏼
