I tend to believe that Amanda felt pressured to confess and I know how terrifying the interactions with police can be. I was pressured to sign the document when I was 16 that I was drunk trying to get into dance club (club for youths that is open from 7 to 10 pm). Mind you I was with the group of friends and some of them did drink. I did not. And no matter how many times I said I wasnt drunk and didn't drink at all, the police pressured me PRESSURED to sign a document I was drunk and only after I signed did they let me call my parents. My dad believed me and took me to the nearest police station to do the drug/alcohol test which of course showed 0 % alcohol in my blood and later on we had to go to court and prove that I indeed was not drinking that night. Thanks god to dad for his thinking of getting testing done as it would've influenced my future grant to go to uni. My point is...my case was not a murder, just underage "drinking" and I still got yelled at, pressured, brought to tears to confess to something I didn't do. So I can only imagine how some of the policemen would pressure those accused of murder and other crimes. Some methods are cruel and pushing you to do things.
