I really don't understand the severe hate for this game, I had a blasted playing it the second it was released and I played it for eight hours straight rising, this game have a good story and even better mechanics. What I like the most is the characters and the way they all contrast each other and bring the story more life, I never liked Arkham games cause of it dark broody tone and the same repeatedly gameplay so this game is a lovely twist with even more game play that keeps you drawn in. I have to say for the first time the media gave this game a bad rep for no reason or maybe because it isn't an arkham game.
