Alyssa Campbell

One of the best teen shows I have ever seen, and one of the best romantic shows I have ever seen as well. It is so refreshing to see a show that doesn’t rely on love triangles or tiresome tropes for drama but instead understands that relationships themselves are difficult and being a teenager navigating life is difficult- so why not show that as the problems needing resolution and leave the relationships strong in their support and love. Nothing makes me feel more hopeful than rewatching this show and feeling the goodness that radiates through the actors, writers, directors. I trust this show and everyone involved wholeheartedly to deliver a beautiful story every time. I really hope Netflix takes this as a lesson to not only include more wholesome lgbtq+ friendly content, but also more wholesome but realistic teen shows, and writers who actually write /stories/, not just repackaged versions of what the media thinks we want to see.
