How I wish TRUTH had been taught throughout our educational system. Thanks to "The Doctrine of Discovery" our history books have been whitewashed to accommodate racism - in relation to anyone not white - in relation to Blacks, Asians, First Nations Peoples. Our government - and the office of the POPE (who signed off on the Doctrine of Discovery in 1493) should be ashamed by what they have helped instill in this country that has definitely not been "for the people, by the people" and for equality for all humankind." Thank goodness truths are coming out - though it is likely those prone toward white supremacy will not read, view, or accept any of the Truth.
