Elden Ring is easily my favorite game of all time and the surprising part is that I am usually into MOBA and MMORPG type games. I have so far played 60 hours all offline and do not feel like I am missing anything. It’s challenging, rewarding, and so incredibly immersive. The castles and dungeons I’ve explored so far are enormous, beautiful, and thoughtfully laid out. The world feels HUGE and the questing makes me feels like From Software actually respects their customer’s intelligence. I can’t stand how so many video games today hold the player’s hand and walk them through the entire game as if they’re incapable of exploring or figuring it out on their own. Overall it’s the most fun I’ve had playing a video game and it actually brings me back to the feeling I had when I was a kid and played a game I knew nothing about. If you’re wondering whether the game is worth it, I say yes. Buy it now.
