Upsetting how the horses were treated during the film! NONE of the actors knew how to ride. They were constantly slamming into the horse's back at the trot/canter. The horses kept on throwing their heads and gaping their mouths because the riders were pulling harshly on the reins. (for people who don't know, the horses have a metal thing in their mouths called "bits," and when you pull on them it hurts, since their mouths are sensitive). Another thing I need to let out...The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is incredibly cruel to horses. With helicopters, they make horses gallop long distances out of fear. In the process, horses trip on the rugged terrain, break bones, and baby horses get left behind. Horses are native to America, and were reintroduced by Europeans. So, feral horses are NOT INVASIVE. In fact, it's the cattle that farmers keep which are causing the environmental destruction. Basically I HATE THE BLM WITH A PASSION. Thank you for your understanding. I need to cool down.
