As a young girl l loved Barbie and because of her l learnt to sew making new outfits for my Barbie dolls and my daughters Barbie dolls. I enjoyed the movie but wish they sang songs we all knew. The songs they sang were not great the best one was at the end of the movie 'Barbie Girl' was so quiet which made the movie ending dull instead of uplifting. The costumes were gorgeous the Barbie world a little girls dream. The story line was okay and the movie could have been shorter. I can't say l came out if the cinema feeling uplifted and had a feeling a slight disappointment having looked so forward to seeing the movie.
