The scenes were so dark that I seldom knew what I was looking at - flowers in the back seat, heads at the bottom of the stairs? - I backed up several times and never figured out what these things were. The story was a complete mystery. Had to read a very detailed description to figure out what I had just watched, and still large parts of it don't make sense.
