Oh man, they really nailed it. A very solid script loaded with reflections on what made the first movie in the series so good. A good paert of the first 2 movies was always about the bond and chemistry between Taggert, Billy, and Axel and while all three are not on the screen until the last quarter of the movie, their eventual reunion comes at just the right time for the movie's finale. Bonus points for the synth/retro background incidental music, familiar songs placed during the perfect sequences, and new music that compliments and sets the mood in other scenes. Of course, many variations of Axel-F are featured throughout the film. Good story, great casting, nice chase scenes, touching b story about a father and daughters relationship and a great 'bad guy' performance by Kevin Bacon who is certainly a master of his craft. Great job, we have watched it 2 times in 24 hours and everybody in the family absolutely loves it.
