Queen Hearts

I didn't walk thinking "Wow!". I understand the messages behind the storyline but the multiple of genres confused me. There were some funny moments but it wasn't a comedy. Ken sings...but it's not a musical! America Ferrera's monologue was fantastic! Margot Robbie is always excellent! She's an excellent actor! The Director is trying to change the narrative on how women are portrayed in movies and reverse that on how men are portrayed. I get the irony but women distracting and tricking men to get what they want is a contradiction on the movie. I feel like we should be teaching our sons and daughters to be kind, honest and direct. Rather than sneaky! How do we move forward with equality!? It's done the job though...people are discussing the film! The film is advertised as a comedy but it certainly wasn't that and I probably won't watch it again!
