Not a judgement on the movie which was brilliantly acted by Glen Close and Amy Adams. This guy is not Appalachian nor do we claim him. He's some dude from Ohio who's looking for an identity. I found this movie to be devoid of any of the beautiful and authentic things about Appalachia that I am so very proud of. It was a movie about drug abuse and coping with addiction which is fine but please stop trying to be the J-lo of Appalachia. We don't want you.
