I think there many version of this film made in many language.
The story was inspired from the film "Chase a Crooked Shadow (a 1958 British suspense film).
I remember watching the Indian film version called "Puthiya Paravai" made during 1960's with similar story.
It will suit any language and keep audience to the edge of the seat.
