I honestly think this is better than Rick & Morty: - It's cleaner and less toxic. - It's a living meme show. - Honestly it has better lessons and story/character arc-ing than R&M. This show feels like it's cleaning out the bad from 2020 by making fun of conspiracy theories. Episode by episode the show focuses on a set of beliefs that are clearly bonkers and does a great job of explaining it and then quickly explaining why its too idiotic for it to work. The animation style is beautifully done and the quality in writing shows that the production studio and writers know what they're doing. I think if anyone likes Rick & Morty, Family Guy, Futurama, etc. then they'd like this too. It may not be better than Rick & Morty in terms of story and creativeness, but it has a leg up for being witty and meme-y in a whole other sense.

This is absolutely FANTASTIC show that came form nowhere. The first 3 episodes will leave you hooked and the rest of the series follows suit with the one of the most poetic and epic tales of love, family, us vs them, and war vs peace themes you will ever see! The writers and director know how to tell a story well. This is very obvious within episodes 2 & 3 (definitely try to get through the first 3!). Though Netflix went with a 3 episode weekly update for this series, this leaves the audience wanting more while also being able to fully digest what they're watching. The animation style is something akin to water-colored concept art or like updated Borderlands graphics (which is beautiful by the way). There's no light animation that American cartoons are usually made with, instead it feels full and weighted and can easy be a new pinnacle of 3D animation (like what SpiderVerse's animation was). This could easily be called anime like Avatar the Lats Airbender (even though it's not). The animation is stunning and beautiful and the visual & sound affects are some of my favorite designs to date. The story, which is only enhanced by the animation, is great! The story follows the life of two young girls trying to make a living in a city that doesn't want them or their people. The city has the higher class in one end of the city and the lower class in a totally different part thats literally in the underbelly of the city. The on going set of themes and lessons portrayed throughout the story don't feel too light or cliche. It most certainly is not some children's show, it is meant for the 14+ age group and feels very adult, not backing down to dumb things down or make it easier for those with weak appeals. Definitely give this show a watch! It will change your life!

This is an amazing adaption for one of my favorite series, and honestly I couldn't have hoped for better. If you're expecting a full faithful-page for page adaption, DON'T! It's not possible nor favorable to actually try to make a 100% faithful adaptation if you're making something from fiction to live action (see, Jupiter Ascending, Mortal Engines, Alex Rider: STORMBREAKER. etc) In the way that this adaptation was made, it is truly the best version that you could have hoped for in the live action sector. Spoiler: Don't get mad that they skip the first book plot, because honestly it works better to hop into the second book than to just go straight through every book. Remember, this is only season 1, and there will be more where the can get to the STORMBREAKER mission.

This movie is 100% better. While Joss Whedon was trying to make a marvel movie with these characters, Snyder wrote a DC movie with these characters. Everything in this film clicks so much more than the first rendition of this movie. 4hrs might seem too long, but if you watch it in parts (pt 1-3, take a break, pt.4-6) it'll be the same type of feel Infinity war/Endgame had to it in it's 2 parter title. The characters are done better justice: Batman isn't just cracking jokes and being useless with all these superpowers people. Stephenwolf isn't a total cliche evil drone. Cyborg actually has a story line, and a good one at that! Aquaman's follow up film is set up better within the light of Arthur's arc. Flash is toned down a bit more for his constant jokes and childish antics. He now feels like an actual adult hero who knows what he's doing. And you can even see Wonder Woman's 1984 film have a tie-in (don't worry if you haven't watched that one it kinda sucks but it was nice to see my previous 2hrs on that film wasn't a complete waste). Lastly, Superman's revival didn't feel cheated and he even has as mini arc within this movie. The final battle was so much better! Nothing felt too marvel-ly. it was pure DC. Enough said. Finally, the epilogue... WATCH IT! just Watch it! It may be like Lord of the Ring's epilogue (but not nearly as long or drawn out) but still watch it!!!!

One of the best anime to date! The soundtrack is amazing, the storyline is epic, and the martial arts is FANTASTIC! At first the main character may seem winy and weak, but he quickly shows to be a great character with minimal flaws. The fights and martial arts are ON POINT. Each fight is amazing and theres never a boring second when they occur! Thought the anime may not have finish, they do have an OVA which extends the anime but the real finish is in the manga which is called Kenichi: History's Strongest Disciple (not "the Mightiest Disciple"). The ending of this anime is satisfactory and the conclusion in the manga is worth the read for it!

So I'm only giving this 5 stars because you had to know what this movie was gonna be going in. It had expectations to meet and it hit 'em... pretty hard actually. It's not like an Oscar award winning, but it gets an A for the assignment given. Good job WB. But seriously, this movie did a better job of listening to what the audience wanted for the last two movies. There was enough screen time for all the monsters. Less screen time for unnecessary/irrelevant characters. And honestly the story was on point. The fight scenes were well made and entertaining. The music was on point, but I have to hand the best sound design to the previous movie "Godzilla: King of the Monsters." This one was lacking a bit in that department. Set pieces were pretty amazing and fun to look at, especially the destruction porn. The CGI was not lacking in any place I could see, so thats pretty good. Overall, if you wanted a super in depth, dramatic, and heart lifting movie.... get real, dude. It's an action movie with giant monsters fighting each other. It was NEVER gonna be anything that deep. Its a great movie to turn your brain off to and watch. From an overall perspective, there's nothing to be disappointed about. That's not to say there's no nitpicks or corrections that should have been addressed; but really, the studio, producers, writers, actors, everyone, did their best for this movie and its something to amazing to watch if you enjoy these monster movies. Good job once again WB, please keep this momentum going forward for the DC universe movies.

It really tries but it isn't a great show. The normal plot elements that great shows consist of just don't appear. There's next to no real action, sword battles, or even bantering. The dramatic elements are undercut by poor writing, the actors are great but the even the best actors can't help bad writing- especially when it's bad writing across the whole series. There's no real sense of danger at all, they missed most important thing for every episode- SHOW DON'T TELL. We have a supposed evil antagonist with a emo-hair cut with the "powers of darkness" (I kid you not, that is literally the only thing this guy's got for him). Slight spoiler for the first 2 episodes- The only time he's threatening is when he kills one woman in front of his men... not very threatening! The show is built to make this an epic quest but honestly it just felt like a kiddy ride too afraid to have fun. The protagonist could have also been less useless. I know the kid is supposed to symbolize being bad at things, but at least don't make him useless and dumb at the same time.- He believes everyone at face value, which is honestly pretty sad to see. At least write him to have at least one good quality other than his looks. Honestly it would have been good if the antagonist was seen actually being evil; if the protagonist and his team actually fought anyone other than the people at the end; if there was an actual side plot worth caring about; and, if the writers/showrunner actually knew how to write a compelling epic story. Everything else was kind of fine: the sets, the actors, the horse (THE HORSE WAS THE SMARTEST CHARACTER!!! I really wish I was lying....)
