This felt like an accurate representation of the Jane Austen original. The language and interpretation are entirely modern. Critics hate it, but I do not know why. Come on, the rabbit is just a prop. I loved the breaking of the fourth wall. The wry humor is appreciated in an otherwise serious story. Dakota Johnson is completely charming. The cast is wonferful. I loved it.
