It definitely should have been a series, and preferably with another screenwriter. I’m sure the book is good and the story is very deep indeed. But the way it is shown makes is a cheap teenage movie, I would say, Kissing Booth meets Twilight. The theme song stuck in my head, not because it was so amazing, but because it was playing 100 times. So many unfinished lines and so many questions! I still finished it for some reason, but I would not recommend it to anyone. Netflix was very sneaky saying it was in top 10 in 89 countries. Maybe it was in top 10, but it definitely was not rated 10. That they decided to not mention. Narration in English is so emotionless it’s hard to feel anything. The lost goes on… but I think you get it. I should have read the reviews before watching 😂
