I am in year 8 and I was assigned this book to read for English. I found this book very interesting and I wish it went on longer. My favourite characters were Annemarie and Ellen with their strong bond between each other. I also found it interesting how the Jews were treated when WW2 occurred. The book kept me engaged when it finished the chapter on a cliff hanger and it made me want to read on. Overall, I would defiantly recommend this book! :)
