Jealous that they didn't think of it first. This "documentary" centers around the 2016 election and Trump's superior campaign strategy of targeted advertising and completely ignores Clinton's corruption, dirty tricks and cheating. Brittany Kaiser (Played by Dustin from Stranger Things) a former employee of Cambridge Analytica is a reluctant whistleblower who is constantly nudged and pushed by the narrator and "media professor" David Carroll who is involved in a lawsuit against Cambridge.
The virtue signaling in this film is over the top and nearly caused me to vomit.
The saddest thing about the film is that it could have actually been decent if they would have focused more on Facebooks selling of Americans data and less on whining about the election results. The best point they make is the importance of being able to own and control your personal data, but they don't offer any suggestions on how this could be accomplished even though emerging blockchain technology and cryptography will likely solve many of these problems in the near future.
