I thought this would be light and fluff which it was at times. But as the series went on I found it to be very, very moving. There was much more to this series than song and dance. How I wish my Dad had sung to me at the end of his life, what a song it would have been. "American Pie" in the last scene, a song of my youth, broke my heart and tied it all together. I have lost a family member to ALS, so this series with its sweet family singing their heart songs touched me profoundly.
