I've always enjoyed Captain Jack's swashbuckling adventures and this is no different. Nothing ground breaking or original to be found here, but if you like the previous entries in the series then you wont be disappointed, if you aren't a fan then probably best to give it a miss as there is no treasure to be found that will change your mind about the franchise.

There are some fantastic scenes and sequences in this film, there is plenty to enjoy but as a fan of all the other Star War films, I feel the story changes too much of the narrative of the previous films making their events nonsensical or minimising their impact. Overall not the worst way to spend a few hours but it's not as good as it should have been considering it was supposed to be the exclamation point on the series.
