My husband and I LOVE this series. We’re both history majors and love time period movies and shows. Although it’s not authentic, that’s not what we were looking for. If your looking for reality, watch Ken Burn’s documentary. This series has the same drama and action as Yellowstone with great actors and actresses. I was initially skeptical due to Having country singers be main characters, but they are holding their own. We’re already hooked!
