So I made the regrettable decision to watch "In the Fire", and tried to keep an open mind while watching this film. I can't say that I am at all surprised that I ended up hating this film. From beginning to end it seemed like the movie was a cliche rip off of other films that had the same premise. Amber Heard may have tried to make a come back with her acting, but her acting isn't as good as everyone likes to think it is. I couldn't connect with her character nor could I even take her character serious. I feel she over acts more than any actor I've ever seen, other than that I'm just tired of seeing films like this made. There's been many films with almost the same plot and issue. If I have to rate this film from 1 to 10 this would be a solid 2.
