I love Japanese culture and Japanese history, especially, in the broadest of terms, Feudal Japan. I have always found the Samurai caste to be alluring in their code of Bushido. Not to mention several other reasons, but I'll focus on the game here.
That moment when you reach the field of grass and the music swells....The way Jin touches the grass you know he loves his motherland. Sucker Punch Productions have outdone themselves, they made me actually feel something riding into that field, I think they're called emotions.
Sucker Punch Productions really struck a great balance here, perhaps nearly perfect between keeping Jin and the Samurai in general, as grounded as possible whilst also striking those chords of these fierce warriors in a near perfect way they have become to be romanticized by literature and pop culture.
Director's Cut has improved the graphic of the game greatly. The newly added Iki Island brings new stories and challenges, and further extended the story background. For players who have already cleared the game, playing the Director's Cut version is still an unforgettable experience. game has one of the absolute best soundtracks ever made in a video game.
This game is amazing with the graphics, combat, story and just almost everything was executed perfectly. One of the best games I’ve played in a long time.
