I feel if it followed the sorce story closer instead of combining plot points and episodes it would have been better. Sokka isn't funny like in the anime, azula looks adorable looking and doesn't look vicious. Boomie is very cynical and mean vs just being crazy. Most of the actors barely fill their characters personalities or miss the true feel of who they are trying to play.
