I can't understand how anyone can post a positive review for this film. The dismal theme song sets the tone for a film that is about as entertaining as a dose of chlamydia. In fairness the first half is good, with really exciting and impressive set pieces. Unfortunately it then descends into a navel-gazing angst fest. Bond discovers he has a daughter - really?? The main characters are killed off and we are treated to a truly mawkish final scene with Mum and daughter in Bond's Aston. It is about as far removed from a Bond film, let alone book, as it is possible to imagine. The only intriguing point is that we are told at the end that "James Bond will return"; I can't wait to see how!
