I’ll put my honest reviews for the poetry book The Secret In my blood - Akanksha Agarwal. The book starts up showing the authors love and respect for her father and family. Treating her father like god , has already given a great start to the book. The book is phenomenal, it’s soul touching. The book is not just a book it’s an emotion in itself. It normalises love , pain and hope . Loved the way book is written, the free styling way of writing with the adjoining illustrations makes it a complete meal. Every poem make you feel the depth of love , it’s not just a poetry book it’s a love therapy we all must go thru. Few poems are so deeply penned, I could feel my moist eyes and they were very long lasting. Worth reading There are poems in the book you will be lost , thinking and imagining how could the poet pen the emotions so well, Would recommend you to have a glass of your favourite drink will enjoying the Secret in my blood. The book has a complete circle of love, needs in love , Desires in love , lost in love. It has some feel good poems during the difficult times in love . There are some very amazing Two liners as well which will comfort you while reading , you would feel the fresh waves reading them. I could recall some amazing lines from the book , which have made space in my mind and head and I would never forget them. I felt my self blushing , crying, thinking, praising and also attached while reading it out . The only sad part about the book is , while coming to the last poem, you want to read more and more. You want to know more emotions on love, you want to just get indulged , you want to cry out more during the second part. Would now end writing the review, and would again open my kindle up and read few poems again like Her eyes Swollen one, wish you stayed a more one, your shivering makes me shatter one.
