It’s just not a good movie. The acting is stiff, forced and wooden almost robotic. Let’s start with the casting: Ilfenesh Hadera who plays Pam King the wife of Denzel’s character David King was sub par at best. Her attractiveness does not save her emotionless, diluted acting. In fact, the entire cast got absolutely nothing to connect you to them. Jeffery Wright did what he always does but everyone was uninspiring and flat. The wardrobe was questionable. Having Denzel strutting around in expensive 3-piece suits to reinforce how much of a big shot he is was stale and boring, In fact, it did the absolute opposite for me. The music score was bad and did nothing to intensify moments when we should have been on the edge of our seats. The editing was bad. One moment someone is speaking inside a building then it cuts to them talking to someone outside. Just not a good movie at all. But I am glad I didn’t go to the movies to see it
